Book Cover Design

I’ve had the pleasure of working on several Lexham Press book covers. This involves coming up with three different concepts for each cover and several rounds of refinement to polish the chosen cover. Here are just a couple snapshots of some cover concepts.

The first concept for this series used gradients of different shapes to give the studies a modern feel while sorting them into study categories.
The chosen concept used a key-hole photo fill shape to give the impression of getting an introductory peek into the text.
Part of the process involved creating a series mark. Here’s a few that I explored.
